retrospectacular
Mother Hyena is having her moment. A retrospective of her sculptures will be opening at Boston University this weekend; she has also been living off-and-on in Italy, completing a commission of Robert Frost in granite to inspire the little budding poets at Amherst College. Locally, you can see her statue of Eleanor Roosevelt in Riverside Park at 72nd Street. It is gorgeous, and so is she.
The Hyena family will be flying in from all over the world for the event. We will be dining on the carcasses of wildebeest and other assorted carrion & laughing at the moon.

OUCHY! Yes to the first Krix. The second is too tame. I always put on my tribal makeup before I go.

Krixy, many happy returns - that UpCountry is a live wire, so sunny & kooky & fun! Love her.
I cannot believe you witnessed my decadent moment at Otto; I sort of wish you'd thrown your body between me and the boots before I could swipe that debit card, in a kind of blocking move. You are an all-seeing goddess, but you don't interfere with the folly of us mortals.
Hello everyone. Hi.
Hyenas know how to party.
