The Yardbirds' line-up included Jimmy Page, Keith Relf, Chris Dreja & Jim McCarty. The song originated from a folk singer named Jake Holmes, whom the Yardbirds had seen in America.
The jury is still out--FB still needs to post her version. Sloths, I am a big Yardbirds fan (as well as Zep). Thank you. By the way--great to see your face yesterday!
hi bumpstar! I been turning the chilluns of NIPS on to your work... but yr wizard needs to update his web site with the most recent stuffs. I keep having to do contortionist language moves of description, and it hurts my brain.
I love that 60's style of drumming that the Yardbirds guy is doing, ala Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Handrix Experience, though this guy is playing in a much less crazy way than Mitch did it. But that sound...is it kind of like a modified jazz drum kit?
hi capt'n, you are so right about the drummin' must to give the Hendrix a new listen... although bonham's no slouch either.
fairy! you are of course the subtext of this post. you make it okay to reveal my inner teenage burnout boy circa 1981. I think he is a gay boy, though; that head-shake and butt-twitch by RP is, um... well, words fail.
tired tonight. two back-to-back days of intense scheduling, every minute booked from early morning to late night. several forks sticking out of sloth-butt... done to a crisp.
they are still scraping the walls off here at new beige. i tried to find out some *things* about it here. who is nice, etc. but i was not very successful...
sloth, i hate the super-schedule. it is something i am familiar with although not in a NIPS way. i hope you feel more rested and ready for tail-wagging after a rest today.

ugh, did I really just say "subtext?" too many hours at nips...
actual phrase used in conversation by another inmate: "...the punctum in the Barthian sense..."
