You know lil' Slothy likes to drive... well today I was jet-propelled homeward from the frozen Beansicle, rackety musix blaring, ice crystals all a-clinky in m'beard. Yep, I have grown a long, taliban-style "face bush" as an homage to MM, but of course it's a pale imitation; masters of the follicular arts are born, not made.
Adding extra machs to my blowhole was the dangling carrot known as Skylab, DJ Dekker's weekly gig Thursday nights at Sputnik! Come & help spread the practice of AdHocism.
Meanwhile, I've been spending lots of time in my bedroom working on a new single, "Lady In Red." It's all about the redness...

I say, 1) Take all beginnings of your paintings seriously, but 2) put aside the one that bores you, and go for the one looking at you with its arms folded!! That one sounds formidable, in a good way. You should also title it Lady in Red.

hi, JD! it went okay yesterday, I worked on the old-timer painting, which is coming to life. there's a little part of the painting that is good now. the rest is crap. I will go try to make another little good spot today.
