Truly. Although there were guys in grad school who were doing essentially the same thing, with just as successful results...

I feel the need to say something about what kind of medium he's using...? sorry...

Wow. I like it--he really is putting it out there, so to speak. Sloth, I think Gamblin has teamed up with him to bottle and sell his...uh...medium.

I could really see his work fitting in at 303. He's certainly got the "chops."

Ha ha!! PD, I knew you'd come up with something. I was "wacking" my brains all last night, but couldn't cum up with anything.

So good, JD. But really, this guy is doing revolutionary work--brand "spanking" new and exciting work. You know how "hard" that is to do in painting these days?

At 12:48 PM, Blogger JD said...

You're right. In fact, this new work is nothing if not seminal.

He's got a lot of spunk--just what the art world is lacking.

So true JD.
Fortunately, he has changed his style from drip paintings to stroke paintings.

At 4:33 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

He is one of the most impotent painters of our time.

At 4:47 PM, Blogger JD said...

Yes PD, very fortunately. for him.

At 10:32 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

he needs to at least get a fucking hard on! any fellow could flick his flaccid weiner all over the canvas. i'd like to see him maintain the kind of situation that might produce some pointillism, if you know what i mean. he should make them from 3 feet back, at least.
