weekend update

Quick rundown of the opening in Boston on Friday... the show is in an enormous gallery that takes up half a city block; the space is a former Cadillac showroom and has floor-to-ceiling windows on 3 sides. Mama Hyena's new work is fantastic!!! Little terracotta beachscapes that she just knocked out while working on the Frost commission in Italy. The one pictured above is an homage to Goya's dog painting. Others are populated with little frolicking figures... the sand dunes are giant, reclining women. Me wanty. The show spans a lifetime of work and revealed the true genius of the mother of HFP.

Hope you all had nice din dins. I am making the loaf of meat. We shall see how it turns out as I wasn't paying much attention.

MM, the loaf is a basic and resonant form in nature. Log-cat assumes this shape on a daily basis as part of her self-actualization exercises. I want to poke her with a fork to see if she's done...

Everyone in your family should adopt a bunch of kids and pass on that talent. Once the creative generation (8 artists in my grandparents generation) died in my family the passion for art died with them.

PD, I will volunteer to be your Mother-in-Law. I don't want to have kids, you don't want to get married so I think it'll work.
