Art show

Art show, by Sloth:

This is the Carpaccio that Sloth wanted to include, but it was too big for this petite blog format.

Sloth!!! Beautiful. And I love Carpaccio too. I love what you chose & I see you in all of it. Isn't it fun? I must do it again. I will look for a long time at your choices. Can you list them, just for the sake of positive i.d.??

Yes, MM - you must do more shows! Sloth loved your choices. Here are the names of the artists on Slothblog:

1. Vittore Carpaccio
2. Wangechi Mutu
3. Moira Dryer
4. Philip Guston
5. Max Ernst
6. Francis Bacon

It was so hard to choose. Many favorite artists are underrepresented on the web. Also, it was hard not to include the other blog critters (MM included), as some of the best artists are among this population.

Excelent Art Show. I am blown away by the Wangech Mutu. I've never heard of Wangech Mutu.
She is giving herself a roe facial. Ummmm.

Thank you blogbuds. Moira Dryer is a sad case - not much of her work in on the web... so many good artists died too young. Peter Cain has a show at Markey Mark gallery; must to see.

Wangechi Mutu is a super, supercool artist, Corny. She had a bunch of work in a show at Sikkema recently. She is a genius.

Krix, you must look up Philip Guston. You will love his paintings of Richard Nixon.

Looking up great art is inspiring to Sloth to squish the mud around. The grumbly funk has receded.
