Confession

Sloth has a secret. Last week, Sloth joined a community health club in lower Chelsea Forest. The club is not a fancy club -- it is, in fact, a little bit the municipal-type -- but there are lots of things to do there, like swim and take betterment classes and such. Sloth has signed up for the Power-Tuft class with an amazing guru of tuftedness. She is spectacular.

The first class was humiliating, because Sloth is such a rank beginner, but Sloth is determined to go back next time and to keep working until there is some kind of improvement. The fur of Sloth is a problem. It blooms with the blue-green algae and has tiny critters living in it. This, along with the backward-growingness, makes Sloth the class freak. But Sloth is learning many things, including the thing that it is okay to be a freak.

Oh I love this picture of tuftedness. I want to stare at it and pet my computer screen. MM has tried classes at the health arena. He gets very nervous but knows it is good for the joints and reticulation. I am sure you are not as much a freak as me! You inspire me to return to the arena more regularly.

yes sloth, you are full of inspirationalness. I must soon return to the health arena. I have been on hiatus.

Oops, Sloth missed the Power-Tuft class for today, because of the time it took to blog this blog. How annoyingly typical of Sloth. Maybe there is a different class later for Sloth. Or maybe Sloth will go squish the mud around instead, and do the health-tending tomorrow. Sigh. Decisions.

Krix, the arena is a true-enough force for good. Everything is improved by it. But Sloth was truly ready for it; mental readiness can't be forced.

(okay, the real truth is that Sloth became completely disgusted by the mirror-facts. Something had to be done.)

the mirror facts are harsh truths. I keep looking for different mirrors hoping they will reveal different facts. alas, it has not been the case thusfar.

Okay, so this afternoon Sloth went to the Arena of Fitness and took a Power Hovering class with the guru's assistant. Trickles led to rivulets, and Sloth was practically killed by the difficulty. The pain-awareness of body parts is interesting, but Sloth wonders, is this just a way to avoid mud-squishing? oh, bash.

Good Sloth! I am so fortified by this news! I too am sickened by the pale drooping textural cheez wiz style flesh that adorns my person. I go to the arena here and there but not regularly. I vow to go tomorrow and attempt the sweat forces that you describe. It is like medicine, I know.

oh slothy. you are so GOOD. Hovering is so good for you. I am attempting the fitness contortions in my mind and in my brain.

hooray for you!

Thank you, supportive MM and Krix! This encouragement is deeply appreciated. And is needed, in order for the Hovering lessons to continue. Because - surprise! - the Arena of Fitness is also the Arena of Pain.

By the way, did you notice the fabulous Brazilian treatment on the nibbler of the Tufted One? Sweet.

the tufted one looks like a kitten dressed in a bunny suit. Does the kitten have a big night planned? If I had a tufted suit I would want to show it off.

There are dark clouds looming in the sky, Krixfort. The tufts must not get wet, for the drying and the fluffing are arduous. I will stay home and polish my routine tonight.

Tufts block sun but bring much luck. Many lucks to your efforts, Sloth. Many good sun inside. Trickles to rivers to oceans of good.
